At the Aalsmeer chateau, everyone seems a bit settled down, now that they live there for a while and the first show has started. Even Laura, who had the most difficulties with the change, seems more relaxed and can be caught with a smile on her face every now and then. She has made friends with a boy from school, Orlando Bertino, and he likes very much to come over to the chateau.

Orlando is an orphan, who lives with his grandmother. Although his grandmother tries to give him everything, she can’t give him his parents and a familylife back. He likes to visit Laura’s family therefore and has dinner with her and her parents several times a week.

When Morris got home from work, he couldn’t fall asleep immediately. He was still thinking of ways to tell Marylena about his job. He didn’t want to keep a secret from her, but he dreaded her reaction.

Finally he got out of bed, got dressed, cleaned his house and worked on his skills to get another promotion. If only she could understand that he had to do this, that it would offer him a happiness no other job could give him.

At the end of the afternoon, Marylena arrived. They kissed each other and then Morris asked her if she wanted pizza for dinner. Marylena thought it was alright, so Morris called the pizza delivery.

When the pizza arrived, Morris and Marylena set down to eat. Morris was still silent, he didn’t know how to start. Marylena sensed something was wrong.
“Is something the matter, Morris? You have been so quiet ever since I came to you. I’m not used to a silent Morris.”
“Well, actually, there is something I have to tell you. And I don’t know how you will react. You will probably be scared already by what I am saying now. I just hope you want to hear me out.”

The next days, Morris orders groceries everytime he can store a little something in his fridge: one bottle of milk, a little ham, or some fruit. Lucky for him, it is Marylena who comes to deliver most of the groceries and very soon they are friends. Finally Morris dares to ask her to give him her phonenumber and she gives it to him rapidly. Would she like to be around him too?

There he is, Morris Rosario, camping out on his own land, his Legacy lot on top of the hill from which he has a marvelous view over the lake. The piece of land is huge, but the sum of money he has to start with is very humble. He has made a little hut that serves as bathroom. All his other, not very important, belongings are standing on the lawn. He is actually camping out on his own land.

It’s wednesday, today Jacob will have an interview with Lars and Morris. After Elise’s surprising comments, he is glad Lars is the first.

To break the ice a bit, Jacob asks Lars about his interests in philosophy, physics and mathematics. Lars responds very enthusiastically about that and tries to explain his most recent mathematical theory to Jacob. Jacobs lets the guy talk and waits for a possibility to change the subject to more down-to-earth subjects.
