Main events of the week
The adults in this house obviously were more focussed on love than on what springs from love: their children.
Geert Goudzoeker, patriarch of this family, didn’t like to live with his daughter and her two twins at all. He started to look out for suitable company and to find a home for himself. Suitable company soon came by as Ivy Copur, who just fell for this old man. When he proposed an engagement, Ivy didn’t hesitate one second and accepted.

The next day, Geert moved out and he is now trying to build his own home and preparing his marriage to Ivy.

Hilda started the other way round:

First she invited Goopy into her bed,……

…. and then asked him to move in with her family. He accepted, because he felt sharing the bed with Hilda all the time wasn’t bad at all. However, it appeared Hilda had been a bit careless with her birth control and she found herself pregnant with Goopy’s child.

Father Geert interfered and insisted that the two lovers should marry to give this unborn child a legitimate status. Hilda and Goopy both felt it was a bit oldfashioned, but it was a very practical solution.

They had a shotgun marriage which didn’t mean a thing to them, but the child would have an official father!
It was a good thing they had arranged things, because Kyra was born three weeks early. She was a healthy little baby, who was lucky to have 4 siblings in the house. Especially Ivo took care of his little sister, as did Ivette when she wasn’t painting for money.

In the meantime Goopy and Hilda were searching for ways to make their relationship more special and decided to WooHoo in a photobooth.

They were cheered on by a whole crowd, which made them feel very good. They had a wonderful time and both wanted to do these out-of-the-ordinary things more often. Let’s hope they will continue doing that with each other!

The two twins were doing OK. Jesse and Jessica went to school, did their homework and made friends. Especially Paul and Paula Minderhout were regular visitors, as was Orlando Bertino.

Jesse needed some help with his homework though, but who would have thought that Goopy would help him! Goopy wasn’t a bad stepfather at all. He wanted to be friends with all the kids, it was just the changing diapers thing that wasn’t his favorite.

Goopy was glad when Kyra became a toddler. At least he could start potty training her and make sure he never had to change diapers again. Hilda was just glad she was doing great at work and made some promotions.

In the end it was time for the youngest twins to become teens. Jessica grew up to be a promissing young lady. Her mind is set to marry off 6 children, so she is a valuable asset to the Welvarendam community.

This is counterbalanced however by her twinbrother Jesse, who wants to have 20 simultaneous lovers.

Conclusion: this family needs to be observed closely by the city council because of its morals towards familylife and marital obligations.
