Karin’s Sims 2 stories

I have been playing the Neighborhood Challenge for quite a few weeks already and the first children are married with children now. Since there are a lot of Family Sims in this family, a lot of children will follow. I want to blog the achievements with this family. So before we have a population explosion in Fortune Valley, let me introduce you to its current inhabitants.

FOUNDER:
Dana Fortuin, F, elder, Family (LTW: become captain hero (fulfilled), graduate 3 children), Cancer (6-3-6-4-6), G1

Dana is married to Ramin, a waiter:
Ramin Fortuin, M, elder, Family (LTW: marry off 6 children), Cancer (6-2-9-2-6)

Dana and Ramin both fulfilled their impossible want of having 10 children and reached the top of one career: Law Enforcement). Ramin reached the top of Military too and is working to get to the top of Athletics. Dana still has over 30 vacation days, due to her 9 pregnancies.
All children attended private school.
Dana and Ramin live at Hoofdstraat 1, currently only with their 2 youngest children.

Dana and Ramin are still very much in love. While they attended the wedding party of Floris and Sophie, Dana and Ramin were constantly autonomously kissing and hugging and making out.

They have the following children:

1. Eva Fortuin, F, adult, Family (LTW: graduate 3 children), Capricorn (10-2-2-10-8), G2

Eva is married to George McCarthy, the shopclerk:
George Fortuin-McCarthy, M, adult, Fortune (become hall of famer), Capricorn (8-2-1-4-7)

Eva and George both attended college and graduated with 4.0 GPA. They are working to reach the top of a career. They live on a large lot called Zuiderzeestraatweg 2.

Together they have 2 children (twins):
Fergus Fortuin, M, toddler, Libra (8-9-1-4-8), G3
Gwyneth Fortuin, F, toddler, Capricorn (8-2-1-10-7), G3

Eva is pregnant again.

2. Floris Miguel-Fortuin, M, adult, Family (LTW: graduate 3 children), Gemini (6-9-9-2-6), G2

Floris is married to his highschool girlfriend:
Sophie Miguel, F, adult, Fortune (LTW: become criminal mastermind), Scorpio (6-5-8-3-3)

Floris and Sophie both graduated from college with 4.0 GPA. They live across the street from Dana’s house, Hoofdstraat 2.

They have one child:
Guillermo Miguel, M, toddler, Scorpio (6-5-9-2-6), G3

3. Georgina Fortuin, F, adult, Knowledge (LTW: become criminal mastermind), Cancer (6-1-9-6-6), G2

Georgina is married to her professor:
Daryl Fortuin-Curtin, M, adult, Fortune (become hall of famer), Capricorn (5-4-7-9-3)

Daryl and Georgina both have their own special way of preparing for their marriage. Georgina graduated with 4.0 GPA. Georgina and Daryl live next to Dana’s house, Hoofdstraat 3.

They have one child:
Hermes Fortuin, M, toddler, Pisces (5-4-7-4-9), G3

Georgina is pregnant again.

4. Hugo Fortuin, M, adult, Family (LTW: graduate 3 children), Gemini (6-9-9-2-6), G2

Hugo graduated with 4.0 GPA and just moved back to Fortune Valley. He had puchased a lot around the corner at Fortuinlaan 55.

During his life at campus, Hugo fell in love with Caryl Toyonaga, AKA the slob. They have been trough some troubles. Apparently Caryl’s need for pleasure has driven her to acts more suitable to Romance sims. With the Cow mascot no less!

They made up again and Caryl will move in ASAP.

5. Ivo Fortuin, M, adult, Fortune (LTW: earn $ 100K), Cancer (6-1-9-6-6), G2

Ivo graduated from college with 4.0 GPA. He purchased a large lot next to his sister Eva at Zuiderzeestraatweg 4.

During his life on campus, Ivo fell in love with Marylena Hamilton. He got his first kiss from her.

He will ask her to move in ASAP. He will also start looking for a job, because he has almost earned $ 50K already.

6. Jana Fortuin, F, adult, Pleasure (LTW: become professional party guest), Libra (5-9-3-8-7), G2

Jana was adopted by Dana and Ramin. She graduated 3.9 GPA and purchased a lot next to her eldest brother Floris, Hoofdstraat 4.

During college Jana fell in love with Pao Mellon, the mailman. She will ask him to move in ASAP.

7. Kalle Fortuin, M, YA, Popularity (LTW: become captain hero), Gemini (6-9-9-2-6), G2

Kalle just finished his sophomore year. He has already made 15 best friends. Having a large family does come in handy for Popularity sims.

Kalle is engaged to his highschool sweethart:
Meadow Thayer, F, YA, Family (LTW: marry off 6 children), Aquarius (4-4-4-7-6)

Meadow just finished sophomore year too.

8. Ludo Fortuin, M, adult, Family (LTW: have 6 grandchildren), Gemini (6-9-9-2-6), G2

Ludo “autonomously” dropped out from college ( I didn’t tell him too and I can’t remember I clicked on something by mistake) and has purchased a lot around the corner at Fortuinlaan 48. This has probably a lot to do with his love for Kaylynn Langerak, the maid.

I guess Kaylynn talked him into starting a family after their first kiss

She is to move in ASAP.

9. Menno Fortuin, M, teen, Popularity (LTW: become general), Gemini (6-9-9-2-6), G2

Menno still lives with his parents and is busy making friends and skill building. At the end of this round he will move to college, to the rented house all Fortuin kids have lived in.

Being best friends with all the siblings is a good start for Popularity sims.

10. Nancy Fortuin, F, child, Capricorn (1-1-10-10-7), G2

Nancy still lives with her parents at Hoofdstraat 1. She will become a teen at the end of this round and move to uni immediately. She will be the heir to this house, despite her horrible stats.

All the women will ask the men to marry so the Fortuin name will only be preserved through the women. Moreover, every woman, whether she be Family or Romance, will have to give birth to at least 4 or 5 children to keep the neighborhood challenge going. Since I plan to go after each impossible want and with 4 Family sims in G2 and 1 intended spouse as Family sim, the population will definitely explode.
