Family & Fortune challenge - new prosperity variety
Driven by the want to combine my two favorite challenges - Neighborhood Challenge and Prosperity Challenge - and by the boredom of playing university, I have created a new challenge, called the Family and Fortune challenge. It is really a combination of these 2 challenges, but the base document for the rules is the Prosperity challenge. I eliminated the university parts, added some elements from the neighborhood challenge and put my own flavour to it, resulting in a new scoring too.
Besides the elimination of university, the challenge isn’t started by families but by single adult founders. I integrated OFB already.
Of course I’m open for suggestions …. and for people wanting to compete with me
Storylines are for sissies
)))))) * uh, I mean, looking for people who are looking for a non-uni challenge and explore the possibilities of interesting storylines without SimState or Academie Le Tour.
OK, I’m serious again now and I want to thank Sheri, Robin and Rachel for them letting me use elements of their challenges to create the Family & Fortune Challenge.
The complete rules with full credit have been uploaded to both the TS2challenges and the Prosperity group. This week, I will upload a score- and tracking sheet too.

Hey there! Neat idea. I think it would be fun. For now, I’m focusing oon the Boomtown Challenge, which is kind of like this one. A little.
Good luck!

Jessica, I have to admit I couldn’t resist starting Boomtown too, although I dislike the negative scoring and the Uni points. But the gameplay is very attractive. Are you blogging your boontown? I’ll go check.
